Reviews and Ratings
The Highland Resort is in a lovely area, with spacious rooms offering nice views. However, our stay was marred by poor service and maintenance issues. We found the restaurant limited and the overall atmosphere lacked attention. Despite decent amenities, the experience did not justify the price, especially given the inconveniences we faced.
Overall, my stay at Calabogie Highlands was enjoyable thanks to the spacious 2-bedroom suite and stunning lake views. The staff was accommodating and ensured we settled in despite our late arrival. However, the restaurant experience fell short and the water had a strong sulfur smell that was hard to ignore. The amenities could also use some upgrades to enhance the overall comfort.
We chose Calabogie Highlands for its closeness to the race track, just a short drive away. Our 2-bedroom suite was spacious enough for our family, and we loved the beautiful view of the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful, although we found some issues with the water pressure and the restaurant’s limited breakfast hours. Overall, it was a good stay, but there are some areas they could improve.
We initially chose to stay at Calabogie Highlands because it was conveniently close to the race track, just a 7-minute drive away. The suite we booked was spacious and suited our family well, but the experience could have been better due to some cleanliness and maintenance issues. While the views were lovely and the staff were friendly, some facilities felt outdated and required attention.
Our stay at Calabogie Highlands was quite mixed. We loved the spacious 2-bedroom suite that accommodated our family well, plus the view of the lake was stunning. The staff was helpful, especially with our late check-in. However, we faced some issues with water pressure and a rather unpleasant smell from the spring water. Overall, it was a decent experience, but some aspects could use improvement.
